Dayton High Tissue Culture Program

Welcome to the Dayton High School Tissue Culture Program Site. We are in the process of starting a plant tissue culture facility for our students.

Dayton High Tissue Culture Information

The new Dayton High School Tissue Culture lab is nearing completion. We will soon start micropropagation of various plants in the lab. This blogspot is designed for students to use to learn about the general procedure and individual steps of micropropagation. In this blog you will find ten lessons which will prepare the students for successful micropropagation. In addition you will find several links to information about micropropagation.

We are excited to open this facility and look forward to the future of micropropagation at Dayton High School.

Below are some websites which will provide a general description of micropropagation.
